Face 2 Face
Sunday September 23 | 12:15-1:30PM
We understand that being new to anything can be an uncomfortable experience. That's why there's Face 2 Face. We have this lunch to make a big church feel small, and answer any questions you may have about the church or how things work around here. It's an opportunity to meet the pastors, staff and other people new to the church who are also looking for community. Lunch is on us! Childcare is available with registration. Questions? Contact Kathy Goertz 253.564.2522 ext.147 or email@example.com.
Small Group Equipping

Academy of Christian Discipleship
First Thursdays | Oct. 4-June 6 | 7-8:30PM | Chapel
The apostle Paul wrote to his spiritual apprentice Timothy, “Train yourself in godliness.” The Academy of Christian Discipleship exists to train people in godliness, to form disciples into lifelong apprentices to Jesus, and to strengthen the life of the local church. Throughout the 2018-19 year, we at UPPC will look at "The Third Way: Early Christian Ways of Being God's People" taught by Dr. Jerry Sittser. What can the post-Christendom church learn from the pre-Christendom world?
Please note: There is a $100/person Whitworth University course fee. Please email Mike Moffitt (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you'd like to discuss financial aid.
Saturday October 6 | 9AM-1PM | Fellowship Hall
The Essentials Class is your tool to help you explore what the UPPC community is all about. Discover how your story, desires and gifts fit within the larger story that God is telling through this church. This is a class for people who wish to become a member at UPPC, but it is also wonderful for people who have been part of the UPPC community and want to dive in deeper. Questions? Contact Kathy Goertz 253.564.2522 ext.147 or email@example.com.

Come learn about this vulnerable population and how we can partner with World Relief to help them transition to life post-release. Lunch and childcare provided with registration.
