Lyn Corazin, Interim Senior Pastor

Lyn Corazin As Interim Senior Pastor I preach and teach as well as lead the staff and work with the Session to vision and plan for the churches ministries. I have been a pastor at UPPC for almost nine years. I was originally called to be the Associate Pastor for Adult and Family Ministries. In the nine years I have also been the Pastor to Missions and most recently was the Executive Pastor. In each of these roles I have felt God's call and passion for ministry among those he has brought to UPPC. I am blessed to work with so many wonderful people who are seeking, as I am, to be fully devoted followers of Jesus.

I received my BA and Masters in Education from the University of Arizona. Spending the next 20 years as a teacher and mom, I became very involved in the church in education, mission and evangelism. That has served me well as I now am working with many lay leaders in the church. In 1992 I was called to seminary and completed my Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in 1996. A Doctorate in Ministry was completed in 2004.

I have been married to Frank for 40 years and we have two daughters, Traci Corazin and Christa West who both live in Seattle. As a family we have had many adventures throughout the world. We lived in Lagos, Nigeria for two years and traveled extensively throughout Western Europe, Africa and the Middle East. I enjoy reading and spending time in Arizona to soak in some much needed sun from time to time. For the past year I have challenged myself to become more physically fit so I may be found at the gym several times a week.

My prayer for UPPC and any who would come here is that we would together find the love, joy and power of Jesus in our lives and share that with other people.
