Designated Giving

Giving and UPPC

UPPC has a rich history of meeting the financial challenges to help people and projects both in the church and in the community. For example:

Many of you have asked, "What can we do?, "What is going to be needed in the future?" You have also asked, "What can I do to leave a legacy to the church because I feel that God and this church have been so good to me." The answer is Designated Giving.

Designated Giving FAQs

What is Designated Giving?

Designated giving is a contribution that is given to support a specific area of ministry for which you have a passion. It is over and above your contribution to the general operating budget of the church.

How will I know the needs of the church?

Periodically a list of needs of each ministry will be made available for the congregation. A current list can be found at the information center in the narthex.

May I give to another area in which I have a passion, even though it is not listed among the current needs?

Yes, however, each gift should be sponsored by an E-Team or subsidiary team, be in alignment with the mission of UPPC and follow the Designated Giving policy.

Will I get feedback on the impact of my gift?

Yes, your gift will have a profound impact on the future of this church and the direction which God calls us to follow. We will give you specific feedback on the impact of your gift.
