Shipwrecked Day Camp

July 16-20 | 9:30AM-12:30PM | Pre-K –  Grade 4 | $25 per child

Venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive. Anchor kids in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. Our week will be filled with singing, Bible stories, sports and games, crafts, videos, snacks and more!

Participant Registration

Participants must be 5yrs old by August 31, 2018. Get ready for a fun week!

Souled Out Squad

Students who are currently in Grades 5 and 6 can be a part of our Souled Out Squad (SOS). These students will learn about servant leadership while having fun and experiencing various elements of Day Camp.

We welcome adults and students who are currently in Grades 7-12 to be volunteers at Day Camp. There are many ways you can help make this fun week for kids possible! Our biggest need is for Crew Leaders who guide small groups of students from one activity to another. We also need volunteers to help with decorating and preparing materials before the big event. Volunteers with children who are too young to participate in Day Camp can register their children for Day Camp Jr. These children will be able to experience the fun of Day Camp with activities just right for their age group. Registration for Day Camp Jr. is included in the Volunteer Registration.

We need over 100 volunteers every year to make this happen!

Music and T-shirts

You can learn the Shipwrecked worship songs before coming to Day Camp! This year there’s two music options: Sound Wave Sing & Play Music CD or Download Cards. The Download Card is a code-activated card that makes it possible to load all 10 Shipwrecked songs onto an electronic audio device. CDs or Download Cards are $5 each and can be purchased during registration or at UPPC during office hours or during Day Camp week.

2018 shipwrecked tshirtT-shirts
You can order t-shirts for $5 in the participant registration. These shirts will be able to be picked up on the first day of Day Camp. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase during Day Camp week.

Stay & Play Day Camp

July 16-20 | 12:30-3PM | Pre-K-Grade 4 | $75

This year we are offering an afternoon day camp the week of Shipwrecked Day Camp. After the morning day camp, stay and play with Miss Kellie and Miss Pris. (Note: This is not an afternoon version of the morning Shipwrecked Day Camp, it's an opportunity for kids to play with friends and have more fun!) Space is limited so sign up today!

ALL 9-12th graders are invited on Wednesday nights from 8-9 and Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15. Cornerstone is a place to hangout with friends, de-stress, and play fun-exciting games. It exists to create space to discover who God is and give students the life tools to build an identity around the true cornerstone: Jesus Christ.

Mission 2018

June 22-29 | Tijuana, Mexico

Hey high schoolers! What are you doing this summer? That’s right - coming on Mission! We’re going back to Tijuana this year to build a house for a community in need of our help. Kingdom Builders has been a Mexican-based ministry for almost 20 years in the state of Tijuana. We will be building homes for a community, staying in a church in that community, playing with kids, and investing in the local residents within that neighborhood. It's a holistic approach to doing ministry. We’re really excited for it! Not only will you get service hours, great meals, and cultural experiences, you'll also be rocked by how God is moving down there.

Small Groups

Cornerstone holds to the belief that personal growth happens in large and small intentional groups. Discipleship happens best in small groups because they offer accountability, growth, and community. We offer small groups from 9 – 12th grade; for both boys and girls. Small groups begin each year in September. All small groups are led by adult and high school Cornerstone leaders with meetings taking place weekly or bi-weekly. If your student would like to be in a small group or you want more information about small groups, please contact Robin Fawcett at 253-722-4321 or

Commit to Opening Doors

At UPPC, we strive to be the love of Jesus locally, intentionally spontaneously and tangibly. This calling has never been more important.

Our church has been a tangible and growing presence in our community for nearly 90 years. We are blessed with facilities which provide for numerous UPPC ministries and in addition host scores of meetings and events for our mission partners, other community non-profits and schools.

Simply put, our building is not for us alone – it is a place of ministry, a vital connection to our community and a mission field. And at the same time, our facility needs updates and new energy. Our facilities are tired and need to be refreshed.

With this objective in mind, the Refresh Team began to meet over two years ago. What started as a simple endeavor – updating carpets, bathrooms and adding air conditioning – has become a bigger, broader vision for the future of UPPC and the importance of our influence in God’s work here and throughout the world.

This campaign in support of this bigger vision is called Opening Doors. We are highlighted this vision and campaign during May and June of 2017.

As a part of the UPPC family, we hope you will take the time to learn about the Opening Doors Campaign. This website is a great starting point; there are numerous other opportunities for you to take a tour, meet with someone from the leadership team and ask questions.

Then we hope you will take the time to prayerfully consider how you might financially join with us in Opening Doors at UPPC for years to come. At a time when the church is often no longer at the center of things, it is imperative that UPPC continue to thrive serving our Lord at the center of our community.
